The time has come for the gaming industry to take off the kid gloves and aggressively assert its growing power and influence, according to the new president and CEO of the American Gaming Association (AGA).

Bill Miller, 56, learned a thing or two about wielding influence when he worked for the legendary Tom Donohue, who transformed the U.S. Chamber of Commerce from just another sleepy lobbying group into one of the most powerful — some might even say intimidating — organizations in the nation’s capital.
