On the heels of Michigan enacting sports-betting and online-gaming legislation last month, companies are beginning to snap up the available market-access opportunities created by the new laws.
The package of bills signed into law by Governor Gretchen Whitmer, a Democrat, on December 20 allows for one online skin for sports betting and for online gaming, creating up to 15 market-access opportunities for each genre between the state’s incumbent commercial and tribal casinos.
