The head of the British Columbia Lottery Corp has promised to submit BC casinos to the strictest of compliance with Canada’s forthcoming money laundering legislation in the wake of a news report that unveiled the ease with which potentially suspicious transactions could avoid detection at present.British Columbia’s Solicitor General John van Dongen this week confirmed receipt of a letter from BC Lottery Corp chairman John McLernon outlining steps being taken to improve AML reporting standards in the province’s casinos.
