Mass baccarat revenue in Macau roared ahead with 18.6 percent year-on-year growth in the fourth quarter, almost tripling its growth rate over the previous three quarters and falling just short of VIP baccarat’s increment.

Mass baccarat rose 18.6 percent to 23.45bn patacas ($2.91bn), just behind VIP’s growth of 21.9 percent to 40.637bn patacas ($5.05bn) for the quarter, according to Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) figures released on Tuesday.
