UK operators have been exploiting light-touch regulation and fostering a "perfect storm" of addictive gambling, according to an all-encompassing report from the House of Lords.

A long-awaited report from the House of Lords Gambling Industry Committee delivers harsh criticism of the gambling industry, Gambling Commission and UK government for contributing to a situation where "on average a problem gambler commits suicide every day".
