Macau Orders Body Temperature Scanners At Casinos After Wuhan Outbreak

Macau’s health authority and gaming regulator have ordered casinos, hotels and tourist attractions to install body temperature scanners at all entrances over an outbreak of an unidentified pneumonia strain in central China.

The Health Bureau on Thursday released a circular warning Macau residents to exercise caution if travelling to the central city of Wuhan, and instructed casinos and other facilities to implement preventive measures amid a holiday surge of gamblers and reports of infections in Hong Kong.
