Lottery Betting Confusion, Child-Friendly Games Prompt More Advertising Action

The UK’s advertising watchdog has once again reprimanded operators for unclear lottery betting terms and child-friendly gambling products, as the Gambling Commission prepares to wield enhanced powers over marketing offenders.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) announced on Wednesday that it would uphold complaints against secondary lottery company and scratchcard purveyor Rieves Lotteries Ltd.
