Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said he will use the confirmation hearing of William Barr to be attorney general to press his years-long opposition to the Obama administration's dramatic change in the interpretation of the 1961 Wire Act that critics say opened the door to online gambling.
Graham is expected to be the next chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee in January, replacing fellow Republican and current chairman Chuck Grassley of Iowa.
"This will be one of the first things I will talk to Mr. Barr about," the South Carolina Republican told GamblingCompliance on Tuesday.
