Mobile gambling specialist LeoVegas has become the latest operator to sever its links with affiliates in the UK after warning of its concerns that “compliance requirements are not easily met for some affiliates”.
The Malta-based operator said that it would only work with “a small number of affiliates” in the UK because of regulatory changes.
The move comes as regulators, including the UK Gambling Commission, have moved to tighten control of affiliates and hold gambling operators responsible for their actions in trying to recruit new customers.
