The proposed merger of the U.S.’ two largest daily fantasy sports companies into a single entity has gaming regulators and analysts considering the deal’s impact on efforts to regulate the industry, ongoing litigation and contest offerings.
With DFS now regulated in eight states, the DraftKings and FanDuel merger was expected to have an impact on the temporary licenses and contests offered by both DFS operators.
