Leagues Propose Low Bar For Official Data 'Commercially Reasonable' Restriction

Use of an official data feed by any one operator in Illinois should be sufficient to determine its availability on “commercially reasonable terms”, according to proposed regulations submitted by a coalition of major sports leagues.

In comments submitted to the Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) that were released Friday, Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the PGA Tour put forth proposed regulatory language covering a variety of topics, including the hot-button issue of official league data.
