The Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA) is asking other European Union regulators to urge their licensees to stop offering online betting and casino games to Dutch customers, even though the country’s parliament has yet to approve legislation that would set up a licensing regime.
The KSA said it is taking the stance that “what is not permitted is prohibited”, meaning online gambling operators pitching to Dutch consumers are subject to enforcement.
