A pending federal court ruling on the Wire Act, which could influence the future of the U.S. gaming industry and appeared to be going the industry’s way, is up in the air after one of the three judges overseeing the case died on Monday.
The cause of death for 87-year-old Judge Juan Torruella of the 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston still had not been disclosed on Tuesday.
