Two more Japanese associates of Chinese online lottery company 500.com have been convicted of bribery in a scandal engulfing a former Cabinet minister, but the three guilty parties have so far received only suspended sentences.
The Tokyo District Court on Monday sentenced 500.com consultants Masahiko Konno, 49, and Katsunori Nakazato, 48, to 24 months and 22 months’ jail, respectively, but suspended their sentences for three years.
