Japan Delays IR Basic Policy Amid Bribery Allegation Fallout

The Japanese government has delayed publishing the final version of its integrated resort (IR) basic policy for at least a month amid an escalating bribery scandal, but officials have said the overall schedule of implementation will not be affected.

Government officials told Japanese media on Monday that the final version of the draft IR basic policy released in September will not be available until at least February.
