Irish Study Claims Lottery Betting No Threat To National Lottery

A new industry-funded study contends that there is no evidence that online lottery betting companies are restricting cash generated for good causes by Ireland’s national lottery, an argument challenged by the lottery.

The report, which was commissioned by Lottoland and ZEAL’s myLotto24, argues that lottery betting operators’ Irish revenue is tiny compared with that of Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI), which operates the national lottery.
