Internet Gambling Rumors Swirl Around Attorney General

Gambling lobbyists in Washington, D.C. are abuzz with speculation that U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is on the verge of announcing plans to overturn the 2011 legal opinion which cleared states to regulate internet gambling.

Ian Prior, principal deputy director of public affairs for the U.S. Department of Justice, on Friday declined to comment on rumors that Sessions intends to say as early as this week that he disagrees with the controversial 2011 opinion and will reverse it.
