Internet Gambling Moratorium Floated In Congress

A proposal to prevent states from legalizing Internet gambling for up to two years while a federal study of online wagering is conducted is circulating in Congress, according to sources.
The study would not prohibit Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware from continuing Internet gambling operations but it would temporarily block California, New York, Pennsylvania and other states from entering the nascent U.S. online gaming market.
