Remote registration for online sports-betting accounts in Illinois will continue for at least another month following a new executive order implemented by Governor J.B. Pritzker on Friday.
In Executive Order 55, Pritzker extended through October 17 his previous order that suspended the state’s statutory requirement for bettors to register in person at a licensed casino, racetrack or off-track betting (OTB) location.
