Greece Cuts Casino Taxes, Opens Way To Partnerships At Hellenikon

Greece’s government has said it will permit third-party casino management agreements and profit sharing for its showpiece Hellenikon integrated resort (IR) project, revitalising the stalled scheme at the same time as it delivered a surprise cut in casino taxes across the troubled land-based casino sector.

Greece’s casino market was jolted on Thursday by the positive new amendments that were presented and railroaded through a vote on the same day.
