Google is preparing to update its gambling and games advertising policy to allow for operators licensed in several U.S. states to promote online casinos.
Google has announced it will update its policy this month to allow for state-licensed entities in Delaware, Nevada, New Jersey and Pennsylvania to begin promoting online casinos.
The update will also see the internet giant step up its ongoing "US Sports Betting beta" plan, in effect meaning that the beta has now passed its testing phase and will likely be expanded to more jurisdictions that regulate sports betting in the future.
In June 2019, Google updated its U.S. gambling policy to allow state-licensed gambling entities to promote sports-betting content only in New Jersey on a pilot basis.
