Gaming Executive Warns Industry Not To Sleep On Problem Gambling

Unless gaming companies set aside their competitive instincts and work in solidarity to reduce problem gambling, U.S. federal and state government regulations are only going to become more onerous, a leading gaming executive said on Wednesday.

Pala Interactive CEO Jim Ryan said the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 was the federal government’s attempt to make the online gaming industry ”irrelevant.”
