The Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago has underlined his opposition to gambling and outlined the intention of his government to eradicate it from the islands.
Casino operators on the southern Caribbean island of Trinidad are expressing their growing concerns about their Prime Minister Patrick Manning’s newly declared position on gambling. Hundreds of employees in the gambling sector protested against comments made by Manning in his 2006-2007 budget speech in October of last year.
