Attempts by gambling companies to build diverse teams and cultures have been slow going, but the results are tangible, according to a range of HR experts and industry figures.
The question of whether or not businesses benefit from hiring people drawn from a broad range of backgrounds has been the subject of numerous recent studies. Almost all of which have identified profit and productivity benefits as a result of those with different ways of thinking working together.
With the facts seemingly established, presenters and panellists gathered at Tuesday’s “Equality, Diversity and Inclusion” KnowNow conference in London were instead focused on how to drive home changes needed to make diversity in gambling a reality.
