Gambling In Great Britain: Personal Licences and Employee Turnover

UK gambling operators are discovering that the new personal licensing regime, introduced under the 2005 Gambling Act, has the potential to land less forward-thinking operators in technical breach of their licence conditions as key employees come and go.As the Gambling Act went into effect in September 2007, the new regulations required that all gambling operators (except exempted small businesses) ensure that employees filling key management and functional responsibilities apply for and obtain the requisite personal licences from the Gambling Commission before carrying out those responsibilities.
