Gambling Commission Penalises UK Casino For AML Failings

The UK Gambling Commission has penalised land-based venue Casino 36 £300,000 for “serious failings” in anti-money laundering (AML) and social responsibility policies, and ordered its personal management licence holders to undergo extra training.

The casino operator failed to ensure adequate customer enhanced due diligence, source of funds and source of wealth checks were carried out for 33 players, the Gambling Commission said today.
