- Injunction applies until Lottoland's overall lawsuit is resolved
Lottoland’s Australian arm has secured an injunction against the Northern Territory (NT) government over a licensing amendment that could “destroy” its Australian operations.
A spokesman for the Northern Territory Supreme Court confirmed to VIXIO GamblingCompliance on Friday that Chief Justice Michael Grant had granted Lottoland Australia the injunction on Thursday.
The ruling prevents the government from acting to vary Lottoland’s licensing conditions until Justice Grant hands down his decision on the overall case, Supreme Court spokesman Xavier La Canna said on Friday.
