Rapidly growing mobile operator LeoVegas is facing regulatory pressure in the UK and Norway, most recently being hit with a licence review and £627,000 penalty package in its largest market.
The Stockholm-listed operator unveiled a 76 percent gain in first-quarter revenue and a 58 percent gain in EBITDA on Wednesday, the same day that the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) announced the company's licence had been reviewed over violations including misleading advertising and handling of customers at the close of their self-exclusion period.
