The number of blacklisted online gambling domains across 16 reporting European countries, as monitored by GamblingCompliance, grew by 54 percent year-on-year over the course of 2019, as website blocking began in new regulated markets Sweden and Switzerland.
The 79,611 blacklisted URLs across Europe at the end of 2019 represented a year-on-year increase of 54 percent, or 27,848 in absolute terms, down from equivalent growth of 77 percent or 22,447 in 2018.
