EU Online Gambling At ‘Critical Moment’ After Teufelberger Grilling, Say Operators

The European Commission must take urgent action against restrictive markets, like Belgium’s, to stop “irreparable and unjustifiable” damage being done to the online gambling industry, according to operators.

Trade groups, analysts and investors called yesterday for the European Union’s executive body to speed up its investigation into 20 countries’ gambling regimes and punish the most blatant breaches of EU law.
