Esports Could Be Linchpin For Atlantic City’s Comeback

Sports betting may help Atlantic City regain its footing as a gambling market, but to sustain a resurgence the city will need to find a way to attract millennials, the coveted demographic of customers born between 1981 and 1996.
The answer may lie more than 4,300 miles east in Katowice, Poland, an old industrial city which has become ground zero for esports.
The entire population of Katowice is just over 304,000 and esports events in the city are drawing crowds of more than 125,000.
