DraftKings, the U.S. daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator turning toward sports betting, will announce a partner for retail betting operations later this year, its chief executive has said.
The Boston-based DFS provider, currently strictly online, will also add retail as other states beyond New Jersey ramp up operations, said CEO Jason Robins. He would not give details.
With legalized sports betting less than three months old, New Jersey is “way ahead” of expectations, according to Robins, who spoke to GamblingCompliance on the sidelines of the Betting on Sports conference in London on Thursday.
