The famed “friendly confines” of Wrigley Field in Chicago will soon include a DraftKings Sportsbook, the operator and the Chicago Cubs announced Thursday.
The Sports Wagering Act signed into law in Illinois last year allows for stadiums or arenas that hold more than 17,000 people to obtain a sports facility wagering license. Seven facilities fit the description, including Wrigley Field, one of the most famous ballparks in the United States.
