Dispute Resolution Under The 2005 Gambling Act

The Gambling Commission has further clarified its expectations regarding the independent dispute resolution process that licensees are required to establish under the new Act but there are still a range of approaches that operators can take.

The revised wording of the Licensing Conditions and Codes of Practice issued June 1st restates the position of the Gambling Commission regarding the dispute resolution procedures that it requires gambling operators to establish as a part of the “Fair and Open Play” conditions of their operating licences.
