Demand For Skill-Based Slots Outstrips Supply, Executives Say

Whether you call it skill-based gaming or video game gambling, three executives agreed during the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) last week that casino demand for these new games tops what companies are currently manufacturing.

“Demand for these games currently outpaces supply,” admitted Blaine Graboyes, CEO of GameCo. “There is a great market opportunity for us.” 

Graboyes said of the roughly 1m slot machines on casino floors in North America, only 2.5 percent, or some 25,000 of those, would eventually be dedicated to video game or skill-based gambling manufacturers.
