The regulator in charge of sports betting in the District of Columbia says it is preparing to open the licensing process in “upcoming weeks” after the adoption of regulations Friday.
Final rules from the district’s Office of Lottery and Gaming (OLG) for sports betting were published in the DC Register on Friday, in addition to responses to comments issued by several interested stakeholders, including sports-betting operators MGM Resorts International, DraftKings and William Hill, as well as local professional sports teams and leagues.
