Czech Minister Challenged Over Faltering Blacklist Implementation

The Czech Ministry of Finance has been queried over the supposed ineffectiveness of the country’s website blocking practices, amid allegations that blacklisted online gambling websites are still easily accessible by local players.

In an interview with a local radio station earlier this week, deputy minister of finance Ondřej Závodský faced allegations that the three websites currently on the blacklist are still readily accessible in the Czech Republic.

Závodský said that it was possible not all internet service providers (ISPs) are implementing blocking measures, even though they were legally required to do so.
