Curaçao Trades Gambling Reform For Financial Aid

The Dutch Caribbean island of Curaçao has agreed on a series of reforms in return for state aid from the Dutch government, including establishing an independent online gambling regulator.

As part of the agreement, “Curaçao has come up with a phased plan for the modernisation and reform of the offer of online games of chance. This plan also contains a realistic timetable with associated milestones.”
