‘Cringeworthy’ ICE Booths Provoke UK Debate Over Blame

UK bookmakers may have unfairly taken the heat for the heavily criticised use of scantily clad women and pole dancing at ICE, some executives have said.

UK-based gambling executives said they share Gambling Commission chief executive Sarah Harrison’s outrage at pole dancers and lingerie-clad booth hostesses at ICE last week, but wonder if it was misdirected.

The gambling industry’s biggest trade conference is a global gathering, not a British one, and the worst offenders were not UK-licensed.
