The termination of online gambling in Cambodia has emerged as one of the most disruptive regional events in the sector's history, with Prime Minister Hun Sen’s August 18 directive set to curtail billions of dollars in future industry revenue and clamp down on runaway, online-driven growth in casino hub Sihanoukville.
