Compliance Concern Forces Vegas Casino Opening

Although most casino operators would typically be more fearful of being closed down over regulatory non-compliance, one Las Vegas casino was this week forced to open, for one day only, to avoid losing its (potentially) lucrative non-restricted gaming licence in Nevada.In a casino opening hardly likely to compete with the Venetian Macau’s for glamour, Nevada-based gaming operator Station Casinos this week installed sixteen slot machines in a trailer parked on a plot of land it owns in eastern Las Vegas and declared itself officially open for business – for one day only.
