Cambodia’s minister for education has furiously denied allegations spreading online that he and other top officials are involved in illegal online gambling operations.
Sar Sokha, the minister of education, youth and sport, said on his Facebook page on Monday that individuals aggrieved by recent raids on underground online gambling operations had been “using the names of individuals holding official positions” to “serve their [own] interests and to cause social disorder”.
