Caesars Entertainment and PokerStars, long-time adversaries in American lobbying arenas, are now allied in pursuit of U.S. Internet gambling legalization, a top Caesars executive told GamblingCompliance Friday.
Jan Jones Blackhurst, executive vice president of governmental relations at Caesars, said Amaya’s $4.9bn acquisition of PokerStars prompted Caesars to reconsider its opposition to PokerStars’ U.S. market-entry efforts.
