Buenos Aires province has approved a bill to license internet gambling operators and plans to collaborate with Argentina’s capital city of the same name in regulating the online market.
Provisions to tax and regulate internet casinos and sports-betting sites were included in a budget bill approved by Buenos Aires’ Chamber of Deputies and Senate late on Tuesday night — roughly a month after they were first proposed in Governor Maria Eugenia Vidal’s 2019 budget plan.
