Labour unions and thousands of Brazilian bingo hall workers will march on the capital Brasilia later this week to demand that the government regulates, rather than outlaws, the industry.
Workers from bingo halls throughout Brazil will descend upon the nation’s capital Brasilia on Thursday to ensure that the government remains “sensitive” to their position and demand that the government opts to regulate the industry rather than shut down bingo halls, as President Lula attempted during his first term in 2004.
