A new law approved in the Brazilian Senate will require players of Caixa Econômica Federal lottery games to identify themselves when purchasing a ticket.
The bill passed by Senators in Brasilia means that anyone purchasing a ticket for the national lottery games run by the Brazil’s national bank, Caixa Econômica Federal do Brasil, will have to present documentation that carries their personal identity number (CPF) at the point of purchase.
