The Swedish Gambling Authority has penalised Betsson Nordic SEK20m (€1.9m) for improperly using 7-Eleven staff to sell gambling vouchers and for offering a Mastercard debit card that violated rules on one-time bonuses.
On Wednesday, the SGA (Spelinspektionen) fined and warned the Betsson unit for using staff at 7-Eleven and Pressbyrån convenience store chains as unregistered agents to sell vouchers for gambling.
