Belgian Regulator To Clarify Advertising Rules

The Belgian Gaming Commission (BGC) is to clarify practical details of the country’s controversial gambling advertising decree, as one of the country’s most famous football teams is snared in promotional controversy.

A newsletter for Belgian First Division club KAA Gent contained a promotion for online operator Napoleon Games, which offered fans a chance to play a game of FIFA with one of the team’s football players.

To enter the competition, fans had to place a €1 bet on the Napoleon Games website.
