Asia, Internet Expansions Stretch U.S. Gambling Regulators

Partnerships being formed by American gambling companies in international markets and for Internet gambling are testing the ability of U.S. regulatory agencies to collaborate with their foreign counterparts, according to regulators at last week’s Southern Gaming Summit in Mississippi.

As the chief investigator in New Jersey’s 2009 probe of MGM Resorts International’s partnership with Pansy Ho in Macau, Assistant Attorney General George Rover offered the following advice to American regulators working overseas.
