Affiliates are struggling so profoundly with new UK age verification rules it could mean the death of many social casino sites, as providers rush to develop a cost-effective solution.
A stern letter to operators from the Gambling Commission reminding them that their affiliate partners, who host the bulk of free-to-play gambling sites, are also bound by new age verification (AV) rules has left the sector scrabbling, said Warren Russell, co-chair of the Age Verification Providers Association.
